Dee's Diary
Reviews from some recent clients:
"She made sure she understood my needs yet pushed me in the direction of shapes, colours and even sizes I'd never have considered... Dee seemed to know the stock in the shops very well and it was wonderful to have someone who could go and get other sizes or accessories while I remained in the changing rooms trying on more items.... I have to say that I have worn everything I purchased many times since and have had nothing but great comments about my new look. A friend of mine was so impressed with my purchases with Dee that she booked her the following week and was also delighted." (Geraldine D'arcy, Cork)
"First of all I was surprised at my shopping experience, as it was more like boutique shopping than the impersonal large shopping mall I had expected. This was because as I was introduced to a real person, in each shop who helped with my sizes, styles, accessories. Wonderful service! Thank you!
And secondly, Dee's sense style and knowledge of stock that would suit me in each shop was a godsend. She made everything seem so easy! It was like shopping with your best friend. Over the Christmas period I received so many comments (and still do) on the items I purchased. My opinion of Mahon Point has completely been transformed due to the service provided. And I have voiced this to everyone who commented on my purchases." (Name withheld, March 2010)
Your weekly guide to Style at Mahon Point with Dee Kelly Morgan.....
I am delighted to be back writing Dee’s Diary. This is a great outlet for me to endorse my impartial yet favourite products, fashion and style tips!
I’ll get straight to the point and tell you I am loving the French Parisian theme going from catwalk to high street. The very clued in Stevie and Alison at Oasis Mahon Point have me addicted to this since early January, when they were showing me their preview collection and they certainly had a great 1st half season with this. (watch out for the "from Paris with love" style at Cork's next Top Model next Tuesday 2nd March featuring our fab mix of shops here at Mahon point)
Being the lotion and potion queen that I am, I’m thinking about visiting the folks, who are lucky enough to be living in Spain, I must get into Emma at Sam McCauley’s M.P.S.C and avail of the 10% discount off Clarins skincare for the month of March – its cheaper than duty free! They lavish you with great service also!
A Special mention to Sarah at Elizabeth Arden, Debenhams, who put together a hamper of their cult product – 8 hour cream worth €200 for our Red FM saturday giveaway last week. I wish I had won this Sarah as I treat every minor crisis in my house with this, from chapped lips, burns, skin rashes – it is an all-cure remedy similar to windowlex in my big fat Greek wedding – that is a standing joke at home with my gang!
Love to all you fashionistas out there!
I look forward to bringing you more great styling tips next week
Dee
