MAHON POINT WINS FOR IRELAND IN PRESTIGIOUS SHOPPING CENTRE MARKETING AWARDS
Mahon Point Shopping Centre was the only Irish centre to be awarded at the 2010 British Council of Shopping Centre’s (BCSC) Purple Apple Marketing Awards Dinner in The Brewery in London last week (12 May). The Awards are the UK and Ireland’s premier awards for the shopping centre industry and recognise outstanding creative and cost-effective marketing programmes.
The award was given for Mahon Point’s ‘Style Advisor’ initiative in the best ‘driving retailer sales’ category and was given in recognition of the direct impact the campaign has on retail sales and the high level of retailer satisfaction. The award rewards Mahon Point’s approach of investing in marketing campaigns that drive sales in this tough retail environment.
The Style Advisor Service, a free personal shopper service,has been in place for over a year in Mahon Point, with hundreds of happy customers choosing to spend their budget under the guiding eyes of Dee Kelly Morgan who listens to the shoppers needs and helps them to choose items that guarantee admiration and wear from the wide range of stores available.
